Office Landscapes put the finishing touches to a mayor refurbishment of the Universities two main buildings. The brief was to successfully merge the traditional building methods of the past with contemporary products and present day design. Our planting scheme was designed to reflect this by using classic, simple modern displays. Bespoke brushed stainless steel plant containers were used planted with striking architectural plants. Tall circular stainless steel displays were used to soften the square angular pillars, whilst lower Stainless steel Cube plant displays were used outside the offices &  around the bottom of stairs to serve as a safety barrier, keeping people away from the exposed underside of the stairs. Read More

Workplaces in Derby and Nottingham go green with office plants for Receptions and offices.

[Pictures from L-R]  A group of three artificial plant displays were installed in the office reception of a local Nottingham company. Identical Rhapis Palms in metallic silver containers were grouped together for maximum visual impact. A Derby office chose tall Cubis interior plants finished in Espresso metallic brown planted with spiky Pandanus plants. Tall tapered stainless steel containers with square artificial Buxus topiary plants were used outside a newly refurbished office building, with smaller matching indoor plant displays used in the lift lobby area.

We recently installed planting schems for two new customers,  a civil engineering company and a Internet service provider. We used plants to create natural sceens within an open plan office area. In one area we used cuvy barrier troughs to give some privacy to a staff Breakout area and in another area we created a line of identical Kentia Palm displays. The second company was also located in the centre of Derby and chose tall circular Rondo displays planted with low light tolerant "Dracaena Gold Coast Carousel" tropical plants. Read More...
