Recent research shows that having living plants in your workplace can drastically reduce levels of stress, ill health and boost productivity.
A recent World Health Organisation report found that harmful indoor pollutants represent a serious health problem that is responsible for more than 1.6 million deaths each year. Having healthy green plant displays in your office will address this problem by soaking up harmful indoor air pollution.
Indoor air in some workplaces is up to 12 times more polluted than outdoor air, this is especially a problem in sealed air conditioned offices. Air quality is affected by chemicals from paints, varnishes, adhesives, furnishings, clothing, solvents, building materials and even tap water.
Stanley Kays, the lead researcher at University of Georgia, said some indoor plants have the ability to effectively remove harmful airborne pollutants from the air and not only improve physical health but also someone's wellbeing.
Hiring indoor plants from Office Landscapes can improve the quality of the air you breathe at work reducing symptoms of ill health, stress and increasing performance.
The study concluded that simply introducing interior landscaping into indoor spaces has the potential to significantly improve the quality of indoor air.
