Bespoke Artificial Plant Displays

8th December 2014

Bespoke Artificial Plant Displays for Jazz Pharmaceuticals

After working closely with the Interior Designer and the client over a number of weeks, we designed a superb artificial planting scheme for these brand new offices on the Oxford Business Park at Cowley, OX4 2RW.

Both the client and the interior designer were able to browse & download our online Artificial Plants & Trees Brochure.  We were able to give help and advice about which type of plants looked the most realistic, as well as recommendations on the style and size of suitable plant containers.

One of the colours used for the interior was purple and this was a theme we incorporated into three of the displays. The tall purple 'Stack' containers were planted to 2.5m high with artificial Ficus Capensia trees, which are hand made in the Cotswolds. These Ficus trees have striking feature stems and a green leaf with a purple underside.

Elsewhere we used tall circular Rondo containers finished in Taupe brown and planted with a variety of different trees. We planted the medium sized containers with Zamiifolia, Sansiveria Laurentii and ball headed Bay trees. The larger tall circular displays were planted with artificial Song of India, Song of Jamaica and oriental Bamboo trees. We also used circular cabinet top displays which were planted with very realistic artificial grasses.

Also this month we installed two exterior artificial displays outside the Drinks Emporium on the Aston Road in Birmingham. It is located on one of the main routes out of the city centre so we suggested striking triple ball topiary plants. In this type of location the role of the plants is to make the business look more inviting and welcoming, as well as grabbing people's attention as they travel past ' getting your business noticed! The artificial foliage looks very good and uses different shades of green, replicating the old and new growth. The plants are also UV resistant so the colour of the foliage won't fade in sunlight.
