As well as installing office plant displays to HSBC's famous Canary Wharf building, Office Landscapes have recently installed plants for the offices, at another of the of the U.K's most famous landmark buildings, 'The Gherkin.'
The Gherkin building is an award winning skyscraper in London's main financial district,a famous landmark building that is instantly recognisable on London's skyline and is visible from some 20 miles away. It has been voted the most admired new building in the world and at 180 metres tall it is the second tallest building in the city of London.
Our client wanted the planting scheme to compliment the modern building and minimalistic interior décor of grey carpets and white walls.
The planting scheme used the latest Lechuza Delta planters, finished in Metallic Silver and to add some colour to the scheme, we used a variety of specimen flowering plants including Vriesea Christiane (Red), Vriesea Cathy (Purple), Anthurium Hybride and Cymbidium Orchids.
