Corkscrew Braided Bonsai

24th October 2014

...were three of the striking plants we used in the office of a Coleshill based distribution company.

After having a new office building built onto their existing warehouse, some unusual and eye catching displays were needed to compliment the modern high specification interior.

For the Reception  areas we chose two unusual varieties of Ficus Benjamina plants, both have striking feature stems. The Ficus Benjamina open Braided stem and the Ficus Spiral "Corkscrew" stem which were planted into tall circular 'Vogue' planters finished in Graphite.

In the first floor offices a Ficus Microcarpa Ginseng 'Bonsai tree' was used.

If floor space is in short supply a good solution is to use displays on cabinet tops and window sills. For this installation we used rectangular displays which were positioned on window sills and cabinet tops. Having the displays higher off the floor makes them more visible, as well as keeping valuable floor space free.
