A Birmingham food manufacturer wanted unusual but functional plant displays for their funky new offices. The solution was plant displays that you can sit on.
These seating planters really make the plants part of the office, they look great and can seat up to five people. What better way to unwind at lunchtime ' sitting under a tropical palm tree.
Part of the design is the conical shape of the container, which gives a sloping back that you can lean against while sitting down. We supplied planters with five seats finished in Bamboo wood with brushed stainless steel 'Seat Handles' and wheels. The Saturnus planters are also available as five, six, eight or ten seater planters and can be ordered in Beech, Oak, Jatoba or Bamboo wood.
Phone Boxes
A modern take on the traditional red BT phone box were these stainless steel phone boxes. They are soundproofed and designed for open plan offices, allowing staff to make important or private mobile phone calls.
Unusual Shelf Stand Display
Another quirky feature was these two shelf stands with different shapes, sizes, colours and varieties of plant displays. The look of this eye catching feature was finished off with a broom leaning against one of the shelves!
Ficus Bonsai Desk Tree
We also supplied miniature Ficus Ginseng Bonsai trees, which were planted into square brushed stainless steel containers. Elsewhere large floor standing rectangular barrier displays were used in corridors and outside meeting room windows, to give privacy and screening.
Square, Oval or Circular
We used the circular 'Saturnus' planter on this installation. These seating planters are also available as a square 'Antares' or oval 'Galileo' planter.
