An Educational Software company on the Birmingham Business Park chose tall Curvy S planters for it’s main Reception and offices, using white flowering Spathipyllum plants in some of the displays. A West Midlands Shopping centre chose a new look using thick, knarled trunked Beaucarnea Recurvata trees. The West Midlands offices of one of the UK leading Lawyers went for curved sided displays in their Reception and a local Birmingham school had low maintenance artificial plants – striking spiral topiary trees for their Reception.

Contemporary Pedestal Plant Displays installed for HSBC’s West Midlands Office Reception.

  

We used HSBC’s corporate red colour for three eye catching Pedestal Plant displays recently installed to the Reception of one of their West Mildlands Call Centres. The displays were positioned against a real slate wall, so we chose contrasting dark Slate Grey ceramic pedestal bowls, planted with leafy green plants. The Bank was keen to use plants in the call centre for the scientifically proven Health Benefits that plants bring to offices. Plants in offices improve health, reduce staff absenteeism and increase productivity. Tall circular and square floorstanding displays were used throughout the building and some displays also had HSBC Red flowering Guzzmania plants.

West Midlands Fire Service have plants installed at their new Office Headquarters.

    

The plant displays were located in the Reception Atrium, Canteen, Offices and Breakout areas. The building was the first in Birmingham to receive an “excellent BREEAM rating” for the environmental performance of the building. An important part of this environmental theme was the installation of green plant displays throughout the building. The Green Buildings Council are recommending that companies install Plant displays in offices to improve the indoor air quality and reduce the amount of harmful chemicals in the air. Another important role that plants play, especially in sealed air conditioned buildings is increasing the amount of oxygen and reducing the amount of Co2.  Read More.....
